It wouldn't put the win's legitimacy into question, but it would bring up the question of what would have happened under different circumstances. Plus, even if it were legal, it would be a pretty unsportsmanlike thing to do (read: a **** thing to do).

You dont get to make that decision, lose, and then say "its because of the injury".
