The scorecard of Jeff Powell of the UK based Sportsmail alongside that of the three boxing judges of the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight (screen shot photo).
Jeff Powell, saw what most of us saw a fairly even fight. Pac was the effective aggressor and pushing the fight to at least try to make it a fight. The other guy played safe. That alone shows PAc should be given credit for the active aggressive and effective hard punches he landed on those close rounds.
Those swing rounds went to the hometown boy. But if you look closely in those rounds pac threw the more telling blows and was the ring general in the fight.
Just watched the fight again. 9-3. Round 8 and 10 were pretty close so I could see 10-2 or 8-4. Thing Floyd did most impressively, which I thought he would do, was control the distance. I wish he was more aggressive, the few rounds he came forward he completely dominated(Round 11).
