The guy is in his 30s and he is not a growing boy. He is not any bigger than he ever was and Thurman will put a beating on his full fledged welterweight self.

I liked him better at the lower weights. When he moved up he just became a flat footed brawler. He needs to get back to boxing.

Guerrero is the one who's moved up through lighter weight classes which could see him at a painful disadvantage against a genuine puncher at 147 like Thurman but, that said, Robert is the proven WARRIOR here. And I think the Ghost is not just brave enough but a good enough box-fighter to make Keith Thurman show us his full hand, maybe for the first time, in what could be FOTY.

Yeah, I agree Ghost was more versatile at a lower weight. I still think this is a compelling match up, especially since there's some uncertainly about One Time's level of competition to this point. Ghost is legit, and this is a real measuring stick for OT, and for both guys, really.

The odds on OT would be higher had that Bundu fight not happened. He says he's gonna get back to what earned him his nickname. We shall see if Ghost is the right guy to be doing that with. I'm not so sure.

well said. This is thurman big step up to the plate. Even though i dont think guerrero is a full fledged welter he still will make it an exciting on for sure. All action. Foty match up for sure. I give guerrero credit, he will face thurman when no one else will.

guerrero was a WW when he was in lower weight classes. dude put on A TON of weight after he weighed in.

this is a much more natrual weight than when he was in the 130 range and looking like he had to skip out on eating for a month.

I'm in agreement. This to me is a 50/50 fight. People are writing Robert off because Mayweather beat him so easily but that has happened to many other fighters! Robert is not an elite level fighter but he is solid and no push over. Thurman has never faced an opponent with Robert's will and determination.
