Since, Brook has won the title there was never a realistic date the two could agree on. Brook's team wants Wembley an outdoor stadium and thats hard to do in winter (Dec), plus Brook got stabbed.

Now Khan has been waiting on May-Pac, plus Brook has a mandatory lined up anyways for March 28th and to do such a big fight for May would be hard considering that is when Khan will be returning most likely.

Did you seriously just post "why should Khan help Brook climb the economic ladder?" Now I heard it all. Khan is fighter and so is Brook. They should fight and when they do it helps both guys get further in their careers depending on how they perform, who wins or even how hard they fought while losing. Plenty of fighters lost fights but still furthered their careers. Brook/Khan on paper is a good fight to make for the fans and also for the UK. Khan should get his big shot but at the moment he is not so who's the next best fight for him? Reminds me of when Bradley went for the money instead of fighting Khan. Bradley didn't want to mess his chances up fighting Khan (which he admitted) and Khan said Bradley was ducking him, so what is Khan doing to Brook? Khan said all Brook needed was a title but that wasn't the truth.

I'm well aware of the boxing scene in UK and that fight would've been massive back then and now. The point is with a "World" title on the line it makes more sense both financially and name wise.

Khan said Brook isn't on his level, and that he needs to become champion. So what does Brook do? Pick up a strap. What does Khan say after? He's still not on my level. A "world" title would be at stake with the most money to be made by BOTH at the moment and he STILL WON'T make the fight......

Also, Khan could have had a belt if he had fought Alexander before, but chose to wait for Floyd who brushed him aside like the gnat he is. He's such a dumba$$, that would have been his bargaining chip.....
