I mean he was hell bent on facing Maidana and Guerrero, so why not Alexander before his loss to Khan?
I'm not surprised though because here we have a guy like Alexander a 2 weight champion (Unified at 140 lbs), who after losing to Bradley fought someone like Lucas Matthysse in a "come back" bout, 10-0 ed Maidana and then took the IBF title from Bailey. All are guys who can lay you out with one shot and are avoided, yet Alexander ran towards not away from them.
I'm not saying Thurman ducked Alexander, but hardly anyone is keen on facing Thurman, yet when someone does shows the interest we don't hear much from Keith.
I get it, Thurman is fighting Robert and that is a great bout in the making, but I'm speaking from when he wasn't lined up to face Guerrero.
