Comments Thread For: Bey-Shafikov: Will Ryabinskiy Snag it For Moscow?

According to sources with knowledge both in Russia and overseas, there’s a natural chance that the IBF lightweight mandatory defense of the belt between reigning champion Mickey Bey (21-1-1, 10 KOs) and his mandatory challenger Denis Shafikov (35-1-1, 19 KOs) is potentially going to take place in Russia (most probably in Moscow) under promotion of “World of Boxing” at a venue and a date to be further discussed.

Haymon will advise Bey to abandon the title cause if he takes it, he will get beat!

The only way Bey could have become a champ was by rrobbery!

Agreed. If Riabinsky takes it, Bey will vacate.

Probably, if the same thing happens from his last fight, nobody beats him, unless you're John Molina

And if the fight were in Russia, Bey has no shot of winning. Judging actually has credibility there and Shafikov has a pretty good punch as well.
