I think his point is that it's weird that someone who is obviously not qualified can do thee things.
He clearly said "The Philippines is a weird country". So that doesn't happen anywhere else? Just the Philippines? lol. Stop putting words in his mouth, it was obviously an ignorant comment he made.
we also have our share of weirdness, body builder and a wrestler who were elected governor an actor who became our president and that box office grossing hit by a basketball star who became an actor and a baseball player. did i forget something?
