I am one of Floyd's most sworn detractors.

He has literally cut boxings throat via the most extreme cowardice ever seen in 150 years of boxing.

Yet objectively, Floyd utterly clowns any pre80's boxer that comes within a stone of his weight range beyond any doubt.

From the modern era, he still would be among the top lb for lb boxers of all time.

In fact lb for lb, really only MAnny Pac can be said to defeat the best Mayweather for certain.

depends on what weight and in what era....duran at lw eats him up in the 70s. in the 80s he might have a better chance.

at featherweight, he'd be a worthy, top level talent for years in most eras but not dominant.

at any weight higher than lw its a joke

          Nostalgic troll!

Duran would barely land a shot on Floydstain. Let's be serious!

It's one thing to rubbish Floyd for credible reasons but that was insane!

You do to Floyd what nostalgists do to Wlad.

All you do is announce to the entire world that your an agenda driven ******!

I have earned the right to can Mayweather because I've smashed him objectively.

You should stay in the History section.. where you belong old man!! Leave the heavy stuff to the cognitively functional (and continent) posters

Wow the Mayweather haters are really reaching now. To the point that they need to imagine a some time machine scenario to find somebody from the past to beat him

You would never have heard of Many Pacquiao back then. Fighters weren't coming out of PH back then

There's nobody from the past who could have withstood Pac Man lb for lb either!

The best offensive fighter by weight of all time beyond any doubt so far.

Now YOUR the one trying to invent the time machine.

But you don't even have to go back very far to find Juan Manuel Marquez, Timothy Bradly and Érik Morales
