He has been inactive too long. Cotto was being difficult in the negotiations so he chose to move on, keep busy, and collect a check. If Canelo were confident he would get the Cotto fight in June, he probably would have waited.

You can't complain about inactivity and then say a fight being a month later makes a difference. The only reason Canelo wasn't confident was because Floyd was still out there, nothing wrong with waiting. I'm not saying he had to wait a year, just literally 3-4 more weeks that's it. If you guys think that's too long, could I be that coddled and entitled please?
