It doesn't matter if they are protecting themselves or they are being protected by their advisor. Sooner or later, all will have to step up their game if they want to make big money. If Santa Cruz is happy making $750,000 per fight, he can continue to fight sparring partners. However, if he wants to get to the $1 million or more mark, he will have to step up his competition. When he does, he will be exposed or get KTFO.

Quillin is stepping up in class in the fight vs Andy Lee. He will be knocked out and that will be the last we hear from Quillin. Stevenson can't draw flies to his fights. He will probably fight Lucian Bute next and will win that fight. However, he will eventually have to get in the ring with Kovalev or Paschal. He will be KO'd or lose against both and then he will disappear.
