Maidana's style is similar to Matthysse's and so far it seems Garcia likes the kind of fighters who bring the heat and he can counter them. Based on this I think he will beat Maidana is a war. I don't think that Maidana is better than Matthysse, he is less polished and probably has less power (still strong af) on the other side his workrate is higher and he can be very awkward. I'm not sure that Danny would win it but I give it a 60-40 to Garcia.

Danny does well in this fight due to his body punching...get's Maidana dropping his hands & does a decent job at holding him off...

Interesting fight...wouldn't care pick either as a favourite...and not sure Maidana will be motivated to put the training in required to pull off the victory at this stage in his career...only a Pacquiao or Khan fight would probably motivate Maidana for that.

I'd take Garcia comfortably, Maidana may have shortened his punches since joining with Garcia but he still throws too wide.

Maidana's wide punching style would keep him constantly in the danger zone with Swift...Not mention the fact the Danny's chin hasn't shown the *****s that Maidana's has...
