it's either mind games or sweet science, make up your mind

would you consider demandiing for a pillow gloves 24 hrs before the fight a mind game or a sweet science?

tell me what exactly is sweet science to you?

Mayweather -- last December: ...now he wants to say that Mayweather won't stand there and slug with me. Last time I checked, it's not called slugging; it's called boxing. I mean, that's what happend in the Marquez fight. You was trying to play tough guy and we see what happened. It's about working smarter, not harder. When he was fighting Brandon Rios, he wasn't slugging. He was boxing. It's obvious he must know that he's not going to win. He feels that in his heart. Like every other fighter trying to bait me into slugging, that's not going to happen. Even though I know I'm bigger and I'm stronger than him, and I'm smarter than him, we don't believe in taking no punishment.

That's a ridiculous statement to come out with, he's a great boxer but to come out with that shows how little of the past greats you have actually watched.

in the ring is a mind game..using your feet to piss your opponent off and then pick him off at the perfect time..that **** is disheartening...aint my fault chino's glove looked like a sock

so u trying to tell me ali was boring? son please end this convo right now..boring is a code word for i hope he hurry up and loses.. floyd is to accurate to be boring..he is doing things ppl do not have in their games even when its not punching..the dexterity he has at the waist and the quick twitches in his legs is crazy..the dude is mouse/cat quick..its simply amazing to watch him at his craft..

yes he can box..but mainly against opponents like rios and margo and oscar..ppl who are stuck in the mud..when u try to use those same angles on bradley or a man with good feet u show less effectiveness...hell even chris had manny reaching all he had to do was land some jabs and he had a fight..4 first rounds was the dumbest thing ever

its just funny because i always hear that manny is very limited. he only comes forward. so in the bradley rematch how was pac fighting bradley then? slugging it out?

I'm starting to think this fight is way too hyped up and it won't live up to it. I'm not saying it will be boring. But I feel like this has Bernard Hopkins Roy Jones written all over it. A fight done way too late. Mayweather is about to turn 38 and Pacquiao is 36. Even after this fight there will be a debate about who was better when he was younger. Just a shame these fights don't get done when they are supposed to.

Anyway I'm wondering what the hell kind of undercard will this have? A few fighters I would've enjoyed seeing on the undercard like Thurman, Broner, Matthysse all have fights. I don't know if the Matthysse Provo***ov fight is finished and locked in. But I'm wondering who in the hell will be on this undercard. Wonder if Kahn will try to tag along. Maybe Maidana can rematch Kahn on the undercard. I just have a feeling the main event won't be what we're hoping for.

he was doing the best he can, his leading in that fight was average, and his countering was as well..u must remember bradley's legs were gone and manny did not take full advan of that by using angles..b/c bradley still had just enough foot and head movement to make his angles irrelevant...manny hasnt slowed down imo he's just fightin better movers and he still has absolutely no idea how to deal with marquez..floyd hasnt slowed to me either its just that he is fighting some much bigger men..
