Thurman beating Guerrero convincingly would be a great win on his resume.

Good win over a light puncher who can take a punch.

Guerrero is like Margarito with no illegal wraps and smaller/shorter.

Will then depend on the type of TV rating that he draws on NBC.

If the number is good, Thurman establishes himself as a fighter at 147 that is now a better risk/reward proposition. Fights with Maidana and Khan, finacially, would now make sense for them.

If he gets Thurman-Maidana or Thurman-Khan for June/July and impresses, he emerges as arguably the leading option for the final Mayweather event in September.

Wow, so's there are some guys that are trying to discredit the win already huh? The Ghost is a solid name for a young and up and coming fighter. For anyone actually. I guess to some he isn't much unless he's fighting the self proclaimed tbe.

It wouldn't do that much for him because he is expected to win and he is a huge betting favorite. You have to put $650 on Thurman just to win $100. A KO win would raise his stock since Guerrero has never been KOed.
