    So apparently the CBS/Showtime deal

means Floyd is definitely fighting on May 2nd according to Bleacher report!
Does this mean THE FIGHT will happen?

CBS and Showtime announced Tuesday they have agreed to a multi-year venture to broadcast live boxing. According to the release from Showtime, via Boxing247.com, there will be up to eight live events across the networks in 2015, with the most prominent featuring the undefeated Floyd Mayweather on May 2 on pay-per-view.

He was always fighting on May 2nd, regardless of the opponent. That was never in doubt.

Do you think he's across the ring from Pac on May 2nd?

been covered in the master thread

Pugmire stated in his article about the PBC Deal and that snippet about being "Supported by Mayweather's May 2nd fight" that the Pacquiao fight was expected and nearing conclusion.

Getting a Mayweather-Pacquiao replay on CBS would be so incredibly awesome for boxing
