I'm not a Stevenson fan, but most fans have a jaded opinion. He's defended the lineal LHW title 4 times. 1st defense vs. Cloud (#6 LHW), 2nd defense vs. Bellew (#7 LHW), 3rd defense vs. Fonfara (#5 LHW), and 4th defense vs. Sukhotsky (Not Ranked). 3 of his first 4 defenses were vs. top-7 ranked LHWs.

Bika is top-10 at SMW (currently #8). Kovalev already has a fight scheduled and the WBC has mandated Stevenson-Kovalev after both complete their next fights.

What is the problem?

C'mon guys this is a great fight. This is the type of fight we should be excited for! A tough rugged former world champion against an elite top level champion. This has fireworks written all over it!

Al Haymon is doing great things for boxing and finally giving us the fights we asked for. We need to support him and let him know that we appreciate 110% of what he is doing.
