The World Boxing Council will present what it describes as “a sensational boxing card” which will feature five championship fights at a brand new stadium in Kunming, China on Sunday.
The WBC, headed by its president Mauricio Sulaiman, concedes that the organization has awakened a sleeping dragon and that internationally respected referee Bruce McTavish who has lived in Angeles City for some 43 years, along with WBC board member Frank Quill of Australia, began working to develop boxing in China which McTavish told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports actually started some 13 years ago.
