Has there ever been a boxer so highly rated by his peers?

One of the things that amazes me about this guy is how relaxed and fluid he is, all the while stalking, cutting the ring off, and being in position to fire both head & body shots behind a superb HARD jab. He really is a joy to watch. And while he is doing all of this, his opponent is burning tons of energy just to try and stay away from these hurtful shots. It will take a Ward type fighter to slow this guy down and to be honest I'm not sure if even he would stop this machine?

He should beat Murray but this is a good test for GGG and a good name to add to his resume, this is the first fight that I believe GGG should be given immense credit if he stops his opponent.

I personally don't think Ward needs to slow GGG down, he just need to box him and that's it, ward should just be ward and he gets the W.

Murray won't be a test. He'll just last a little longer but the fight will be very one-sided.

As far as boxing goes, is there any kind of hype to this fight being shown on tv in the UK?

given the way the adama fight went (no early stoppage) and that murray is gonna probably last longer here, and that golovkin is technically more skilled, the 6/1 on offer for a golovkin points victory is a great bet. and i've certainly put my cash where my mouth is.

Not that i'm aware of. I haven't seen it advertised or spoken of. And it's even on a free to air station.

That's a shame, hopefully it picks up towards the end of the week. I don't even see any blurb on BBC Sports or Sky's boxing pages. It's too bad Golovkin had one last fight commitment to make in Monaco, this fight should've been somewhere in England like Manchester.

saw froch vs groves 2 again last night.

groves shoulder roll is f#cking hilarious.

"let's drop our lead hands, and square the f#ck up. that'll teach em!"
