Comments Thread For: George Groves Breaks Down Golovkin vs. Murray Clash

LONDON - World super-middleweight contender 'Saint' George Groves has experienced firsthand the quality of reigning WBA Super world middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, but insists Martin Murray is the man to test the Kazakh destroyer when they meet on Saturday (February 21) in Monte Carlo.

Groves, a two-time world title challenger, spent a week in training camp with Golovkin last summer and the pair sparred a number of rounds together. It offered the Londoner the chance to see exactly why Golovkin, 31-0 (28 KOs), is the most feared fighter on the planet right now.

Pretty Boy George knows his stuff... Im more intrigued by GGG-Murray than I have been by recent GGG fights. Think it will tell us alot about both fighters.

From how this interview sounded, Groves believes that Golovkin will beat Murray. I wonder how their spar went overall, if Golovkin or Groves won.

Both Lee and Groves said similar things. Golovkin is a measured operator who uses his feet, feints to create traps and place constant pressure. See how everyone that actually knows the sport rates this guy so highly? Fck the NSB tards saying he's one dimensional.

Good to see Murray getting praise. All the more kudos for GGG when he gets Murray out of there.

ggg's power is overrated if he could spar groves and not knock him cold in one second

obviously they don't know anything about "shifting" in boxing. how GGG does it so well that its hard to really see it until the other fool gets knocked out.
