what about those three makes you think they beat GGG?

I will assume that since you post here, you might know a thing or two about the sweet science. Break it down for us. don't just sit behind the comfortable anonymity of your screen name and tell us who wins and that's it.

Lara and Cotto both have a good jab and excellent movement. I can see both of them taking advantage of Golovkin's defensive liabilities and boxing their way to a UD.

Alvarez has the punch to possibly make Golovkin fight off the back foot - which we've never seen him do before. if Alvarez doesn't fold from Golovkin's power and can make him fight off of the back foot - he may be able to beat Golovkin...

Lara and cotto have nothing for ggg,and im a huge lara fan. If golovkin was able to take a flush shot from curtis, and all he did was smile and walk him down, what makes you think that a jab is going to keep him away? Lara has great movement, but can be trapped against the ropes, like in the canelo and angulo fight. If angulo could drop him twice, ggg ends him. Cotto hasnt had good movement, ever since the first margarito fight, but of course he looked good against a one legged martinez. Cotto gets walked down, and beaten in the first 5 rounds. Canelo could make it interesting, but hes no crazy power puncher. His biggest knockouts have been against the 140lb josesito lopez, and a worn out angulo, whos face swelled up from the lara injury. If cottos brother was able to make canelo do the bambi legs,id hate to see what would happen if ggg lands flush, which he will, since canelo has cement in his feet.

There's more to boxing than a jab and Curtis isn't exactly known for his boxing ability. If punching power where the end-all-be-all then why isn't the biggest puncher @ 168 or @ 147 the champion in those divisions?

Punching power is MEANINGLESS if you can't find the target.

Why do you GGG Stans keep bringing up the Angulo fight? Didn't Angulo LOSE? Didn't Angulo get TKO'ed? Besides that, triangle theories DON'T WORK in boxing AND the Triple Duck and Angulo fight *nothing* alike.

I will have to disagree with you. All three get stopped by GGG. I will tell you why.

Lara's movement (Cuban Boxing School, homes) is far better than Cotto's. Lara is like a dancer in the ring with those feet. That's not going to be one of Cotto's ways to win. He will have to move yes, but he's not at Lara's level with it. GGG has some of the best footwork in the game, he cuts off the ring better than anybody. Cotto would get trapped and pounded, Lara run and eventually gets stopped. Lara doesn't have the power to keep GGG out of his face, neither does Cotto imo. but at least Lara got happy feet. Cotto's a warrior, he'll go out on his shield.

Alvarez, his power has not impressed me nor has his footwork. I'm not sure if he has the power to keep GGG honest and off of him enough so that Canelo can do his work. Perhaps that changes if/when Canelo moves up to 160lb. One thing is for sure, he can't take rounds off vs. GGG like he has against other guys. The pressure is constant.

Check out what Andy Lee and George Groves had to say about Golovkin. It reaffirms everything a knowledgeable fan will see in GGG. Impeccable footwork, balance, and timing. his power is so much more effective because he's an elite boxer as well.

Naysayers (no pun intended) like to mention his supposed defensive liabilities...but I see a boxer who is deceptively proficient at the art of slipping punches and using offense as a defense, along with feints and traps.

Think about it, since GGG has come to America, we've only seen his chin tested on two punches, from Curtis Stevens, one of the hardest hitting MWs. GGG had to step back, but was right back in it. We know the outcome of that one.

I would tell people to stop posting in his threads but as we've seen, he's more than capable of talking to himself. Pathetic.

Yeah you have, you got banned recently wether it be a temporary ban or not, you're that Cisco Route guy an alt of Naysayer on BN24! You post exactly the same threads & you were recently found out for posting your cartoons of Pharaohs again & got pawned for it haha I post there too & you are one of the most laughed at individuals on the site, every other post is about 3G, you're clearly rattled about him! A barking dog is obviously upset at something!

Do you even know how the HOF works? Hardly anyone of the elite fighters currently operating (in any division) have beaten a HOF fighter you moron! Hardly anyone gets in it anyway & you have to be retired for 5 years before you can be a member!

There is nothing particularly impressive about knocking over TOMATO CANs. You Triple Duck sausage riders should insist that your hero fight somebody. If nobody @ 160 wants to fight then do what great fighters of the past did and MOVE UP.
