Mexicali's welterweight contender Jorge Paez Jr. will face Ronald Montes of Colombia on Saturday night in Ocozocoautla, Chiapas. He will headline a Zanfer Promotions card that will air on Azteca 7, La Casa del Boxing. Páez (37-5-2, 22 KO's) and Montes (16-1, 14 KO's) will clash at the Municipal Auditorium.
Paez returns after two difficult fights in 2014, where has upset by Vivian Harris in March and then fought to a six round technical decision with Aaron "La Joya" Herrera in October. Montes is returning after suffering a decision loss to Ramses Agaton from last September and that fight also took place in Mexico.
