Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Denies Contract Signing, Confident 5/2 Happens

The back and forth negotiations aimed at getting the multi-million dollar fight finalized between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. for May 2 is still not a done deal despite rumors and speculations.

In an interview with BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports, Pacquiao who was in congress admitted that “there is no contract but there is an agreement” which means the two fighters and their negotiators have agreed on the salient points on the May 2 date, the MGM Grand Garden Arena venue in Las Vegas, random blood tests and the revue sharing which was reportedly 60-40 percent in favor of Mayweather.

I am just not confident. However, 2015 has shown more progress than usual so I am hoping that is a good omen.

Dan Rafael's credibility once again shot.

His source was probably Arum or Koncz. Still dont get what reason they have to lie but they continue to do so.

Once this fight is over a heavy weight shall be lifted off boxing fans we can all crack open a beer, raise it to the ceiling and celebrate like its new years eve. Then we can all ride off into the sunset and await for the future stars of boxing to make their mark

and after the fight is over, regardless of who wins, we go back to our dead-end jobs and ugly girlfriends.

and in 50 years people will call Mayweather and Pacquiao bums who "couldn't compete in the modern era"
