Comments Thread For: Murray Warns Golovkin: This is Going To Be a War!

Monte-Carlo, New York, Johannesburg -- Any doubts about Martin Murray’s mental state ahead of this weekend’s middleweight championship fight against Gennady Golovkin, boxing’s biggest puncher, can be laid to rest.

“This is going to be a war and I’m willing to do anything it takes,” the WBC number one contender has told promoter Rodney Berman.

The pair square off for Golovkin’s WBA Super World middleweight, interim WBC World middleweight and IBO middleweight titles at the Salle des Étoiles concert hall in Monte-Carlo on Saturday.

Berman is one of a number of boxing figureheads who believe that, like with Mike Tyson before, Golovkin’s opponents are out-psyched by his reputation long before they start trading punches. With 18 consecutive knockouts to his name, Golovkin is statistically the biggest puncher among boxing’s world champions.

Charles Brewer can get off the couch and whip Murray.

Murray couldn't even beat the dreaded Felix Sturm.

Strum...if you don't know...was KTFO by what was left of a shot Javier Castilejo...and he wasn't even a MW.

Anybody that can't beat Sturm shouldn't have a license, let alone a shot at a title.

            Prove it in the Ring?

I seen Martin Murry fight once or twice n he was in good condition and fought really good. If he's in great fighting shape he can give Triple G some problems. PREDICTION: GLOVOKIN BY LATE 9th to 12th TKO

History's full of very one-sided wars, Martin.

Oscar didn't get put to sleep against the ropes by Castillejo(at least not in this dimension)....That was Strum.

                    Javier Castillejo couldn't bust a g**** at 154 let alone 160.

MW is so dead Jermain Taylor has a title....Hell.....Anybody that can spell Middleweight, is ranked in the Top 10
