This MFer managed to duck every single notable fighter at 160 for the past few years, and thats whats expected for the next few. Lee stops him. Other than quillins left, he really doesnt have anything else that shud worry Lee, he gassed against rosado and he was getn tagged with rosados right hand. Lee is a tricky fighter who is patient, i predict Lee will stop quillin with an overhand right shot over a quillin jab.Comment

Who did Geale beat that were ranked 2 and 3? Sturm? You are talking about a bunch of C level fighters beating each other. So some C level fighters ranked 1, 2, and 3 were beating eachother back in the day, so what?
N'Dam won 7 rounds? but got dropped 6 damn times. Can't win a fight when the amount of times you tasted the canvas was closer to 10 KD's than it was to 1 knock down
I never said ndam won the fight just that he won more rounds than quillin. the same quillin who you said was good. Since obviously you aren't going on resume to hype quillin you must be going on performances and level of domination over inferior opponents...but i don't know if good fighters are losing 7 rounds to ndam and losing 4 to 5 rounds to rosado before getting bailed out. he seems like another berto/broner to me. guy barely winning by the skin of his teeth over opponents that were carefully picked for him. not a good sign. also the refusal to fight guys is troubling. korobov and macklin too much of a risk?Last edited by daggum; 02-16-2015, 02:35 AM.Comment

have you seen quillin's resume? don't try to discredit people if they have a much better resume then the guy you are trying to hype up. it simply makes no sense. This is boxing beating each other is what usually happens. golovkin beat rosado and rosado beat quillin so what does that prove? it proves people lose sometimes. Geale and quillin should have losses but geale's resume certainly sh-its on quillin's so to say he's nothing special while saying quillin is good is quite strange. Even if quillin was truly undefeated his resume still is nowhere near geale's.

neither of them have showed that they're good against other good opposition
Anyway, my point still stands. Only meaningful fight at 160 is GGG vs Quillin. The rest are uninteresting really. And Cotto needs to drop the belt and fight at 154.Comment

Quacklin needs to rematch Rosado to prove that he can actually beat a guy that almost everybody else can.Comment

I said:
Also, Quillin beat Rosado. And, I don't see how old Mundine, old Sturm, and Sylvester are any better than beating old Winky, N'Dam, F. Guerrero, and Rosado. I don't see your view on how that resume ****s on Quillin's?

sturm and sylvester were belt holders for years when geale fought them. not sure how sturm was old he came back to destroy barker and had a draw with steiglitz. winky came back...oh wait he retired and hadn't fought for 3 years when he fought quillin.
you can say the only interesting fight at 160 is quillin-ggg but its based on quillin being a hyped up fighter like broner/berto. its not based on his accomplishments or performances. the fight should have happened already so we could do away with quillin but he's trying to make a living so he wants those easy fights. i understand why he's ducking but that doesn't mean i respect it.Comment

sure he "won" but it was razor close and he was being dominated for the last 3 rounds when they stopped it on a cut that wasn't any worse than it was 3 rounds earlier. you know it was dubious. where was the rematch?

Okay so you don't want Quillin to fight GGG because he's not good in your opinion? So from now on I shouldn't see you asking for that mismatch then or saying Quillin is ducking, because GGG is so much better, and so is Geale for beating has-been, paper title holder, didn't beat any one good for it, Felix Sturm. So then GGG is better off fighting non top 10 ranked Lemeiux and 154 pounder Miguel Cotto.Comment

So winner of Lee quillin has to fight Saunders next then quillin will call out who what big names? Cotto no $ for cotto, Jacobs? Brooklyn cares only . He won't be calling out ggg haymon won't let him lose belt so quick if he gets by Saunders .Comment
