    Last December, Golden Boy Promotions announced that a deal had been struck to sign middleweight David Lemieux (33-2, 31KOs) of Canada to a promotional agreement. A few weeks later, promoter of Yvon Michel made it known that he planned to initiate a legal action, because his company was confident that it still had Lemieux under a valid promotional agreement.

    Lemieux is not worried about the outside issues. He's only worried about his next fight, which is being worked on. His legal team and manager Camille Estephan are handling the situation.
