I'll be glad when the announcement for the next Mayweather fight happens, just for the circus to be over. I don't care if it's not Pacquiao.
I still see Pacquiao returning to the US for a string of press conferences the last week of February, and staying for eight straight weeks of training at Wild Card. I believe things are lining up perfectly for the fight to happen.Comment

No I feel like the more people who call Floyd a coward, the better chance us fans have of mayweather finally growing a pair of balls and agree to fight the little Asian. He still hasn't agreed to the terms yet. Manny agreed to all floyds demands and is waiting on a signed contract from Floyd. Floyd doesn't seem that optimistic about fighting pacquiao. I think the more pressure Floyd gets put on him, the higher of a likelyhood that he realizes his legacy needs this more than he knows. Ali fought Frazier and foreman. Tyson fought Spinks, Ruddock, holyfield, Lewis, holmes. All the best of his era. He won some lost some regardless. He didn't back down. Ali fought Frazier 3 times, and they were the most watched fights ever. Who does mayweather have on his resume? Corrales, old washed up de la Hoya, overhyped zab Judah who had just gotten KO'd the fight before, B level Castillo who actually beat mayweather, lightweight Marquez who's trainer nacho thinks pacquiao will beat mayweather up bad, pacquios leftovers cotto who gave him a tough fight. And canelo who hadn't done much in boxing up to that point, but in hindsight may be the best win on mayweathers resume. While pacquiao fought Morales 3 times, Barrera twice, Marquez 4x Tim Bradley twice, pacquiao has been in some real wars. Pacquiaos average wins are as good or better than mayweathers best. Pacquiao will be considered the better fighter of our era.
