I dont think they can build stars that way. The diehards just want good fights and the casuals just like stars, and stars come from big fights, what stars is haymon building? Lets be real danny garcia and broner should have fought against each other already. Maybe it would have been a trilogy of great fights but instead we got nothing. These guys are unknown outside of boxing circles. A few of my friends know broner from instagram, if i mention danny garcia they say who?
honestly i dont think its going to be cherry picking anymore its pretty clear haymon aint gonna waste these tv dates hyping a fighter. I can see why you say that the last year or 2 seemed like was nothing but a haymon infomercial for some these fights but i think he will now begin to pit his fighters against one another only time will tell tho

He can't afford to now to be honest. I'm sure he has promised these guys the world financially but the numbers just aren't there, especially for any cherry picking to be going on. If he thinks he can continue the way that he has in the past two years, his floor will fall out within the next 12 months no ifs, ands or buts.

Going to be an interesting year for Team Haymon. I don't think he can maintain a stable of this size in the long-term but we'll see. His matchmakers have a busy 12 months in front of them.

Why isn't there ever any major fights in Boston? Even John Duddy only ever fought there a couple times at some small convention center.

The TD Garden looked rocking during the UFC event. What is it tax issues? Philly suffers from same day weigh-ins, don't know Boston's excuse.

Why is it "the hits keep coming?" It almost makes it sounds like it's a "negative" when a fighter signs with Haymon. Why is no one asking "why" fighters keep signing with Haymon, and not Arum or Don King?
