Duva: They were the best??? NO WAY!

Dino Duva, promoter of top-rated heavyweight contender Samuel “The Nigerian Nightmare” Peter, 25-1 (21 KOs), says he was less than impressed by Saturday’s sloppy, and in James Toney’s case grossly overweight, heavyweight title bout between Hasim Rahman and James Toney and even more unimpressed and angered by the way HBO approached the status of the heavyweight division during the broadcast. wether u guys like it or not these guys are taking over the division..
eventhogh sam peter lost to klitschko hes still a huge force in the division, i think we might even see a toney-peter fight for an eliminator for one of these belts, i wouldnt be suprised if it goes down...

Rahman-Toney was far better than Klitschko-Peter, as far as I'm concerned. It was actually a competitive fight where one guy didn't completely dominate, minus the five times one of his opponents wild-ass punches actually connected.

Watching the Klitschko-Peter fight is like watching Lacy-Calzaghe. It showed that Peter was not as good as he had been touted to be, and that he needed to learn to box, because his power simply wasn't going to cut it, when he couldn't even keep glass-jawed Wladimir down.

Duva's just pissed because his overrated fighter wasn't mentioned, even though a bunch of half-wits rated him as top-4 in the world.

there is no way toney/rahman was a better fight that klit/peter. neither toney nor rahman threw a punch the whole night that wouldve taken wlad klitshko out if they hit him with his hands down.
