But why do you think that is the case? They gave in to ALL of Cotto's demands and he still didn't sign the contract. Should Nelo just sit by idly waiting until Cotto decides what he wants to do? Meanwhile, Ginger has his fight lined up and ODLH is ramping up promotional activities while Cotto approaches a year of inactivity.

Not sure if what you mean by "The boy doesn't want to fight against guys that are complete boxer's" means he is reluctant to face excellent defensive fighters (guys skilled at avoiding getting hit), but FYI, he already fought Floyd, Lara, Mosley and Trout! Are they unskilled offensive fighters who stand in front of their opponent? No way!!!

I agree that Canelo is one-dimensional, a very limited fighter and has huge stamina and defense issues, BUT your saying that he is avoiding fighting vs. a certain type of fighters, means you are lying through your teeth because the guy has already fought the most skilled defensive fighters in his weight class, and BTW I don't think he is a "class A" fighter either, but he has heart, kind of Rocky Balboa in those legendary movies, and that's always a very good attribute IMO.

Floyd and Lara exposed this kid and showed the world the kid doesn't know near enough to become be more than a D- figbter. Sure he'll look good when he's fighting bums of guys moving up in weight. But put him in against well rounded fighters and the kid is lost. Let's face it the tickets for this fight will be so low you can get 20 for under $2.50 &each. Hell I paid more for a bus ride on a Greyhound bus. ....

Caves did Whitaker, never had a following his PPV #s. He always rely on bigger names to be able to sell some.....Canelo by far has more following now than Whitaker ever had all his career.

The real question should be if Chavez Sr. ever had as big of a following as Kirkland does now.

Because we all know Kirkland is the A-Side.
