This much is clear: a clash that will match junior welterweight standouts, Ruslan Provodnikov and Lucas Matthysse, which will be televised by HBO, has been consummated. March 28th was originally set as the date for this fight which is so eagerly anticipated by the hard-core boxing fans.

Both Banner Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions - who are co-promoting this event - wanted this fight to take place at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA, which has become a consistent host for boxing the past decade or so. But word is that this site is unavailable and that it's Al Haymon who has reserved this date (for a fight card which has neither been finalized or announced).

This is one of the most action packed matches that could take place in boxing, and you'd rather al haymon have it so we could see the likes of Garcia-salka or maybe we will get Floyd mayweather vs. Rod salka this time since he is so reluctanct to face mr. Pacquiao in an actual ring, and would rather throw jabs on instagram and have his family spew b.s. To the media about how mayweather could easily beat him or that mayweather doesn't need pacquiao for his legacy. If you think he doesn't, and you think mayweather ducking pacquiao again wouldn't hurt his legacy bad, you better think again. A majority of the boxing world already believes hes ducking, and many people believe pacquiao would beat mayweather. Others say its 50/50 or close to it. Its the biggest fight ever, and his biggest payday ever by far. Hes been accused of ducking margarito, Paul Williams, prime cotto and others. He never really has faced the best opposition available, considering pacquiao has been the top guy at 147 from 2009 up until he got KO'd in 2012. Pacquiao had been pound fir pound number one for far longer than mayweather has right now. Pacquiao has worked himself bqck to number 2, and I feel he would steamroll right over Floyd easily. Manny has said he will beat Floyd easily, of course it would be a huge duck.
