Mares is my favorite fighter, I remember the first time I watched him fight, he was being trained by Nacho. I thought he was going to be a big star one day. He separated from Nacho because there was a disagreement with Espinoza being his manager which also managed my other favorite fighter at the time Israel Vazquez, which happened to be Rafael Marquez rival. Nacho would have taught Mares how to avoid a left hook which his trainer knew he was always open to, it was just a matter of time and timing is what happened to Mares against Gonzalez. Hoya's wife is the one who told Oscar he better sign him to GBP when she saw him fight.

Derek Edwards, I like the guy, he starts fast, is pretty athletic, and his some skills but has a poor chin, stamina, and mentally falls apart against good opponents.

Tomasz Adamek. He is undersized at HW but the guy is a very talented boxer, especially at LHW and he has the heart of a giant. He is probably close to retirement now but he is always a true champion at heart.
