The question is does rose realy want the rematch? he's facing a david price dillema, 2 losses to the same guy will be a huge setback? If jones fights like that with quick headmovement not hunching over absorbing too many like he did with abel sanchez and actualy blocks the jabs then he's a great chance to win again.

I think he does because he's this was supposed to be his rebuilding process. He's not old... but he's also not young. If he can't beat Jones....WTF is he supposed to do? He could go back to fighting really really low tier guys to build himself back up, or just try to avenge the loss and move on.

Im not happy how theyve tried to tarnish ian john-lewis one of the best referees, the stopage was fine in my eyes, maybe the only one i can fault him on was the enzo mac vs ovil mckenzie one.

You can argue if it was premature.... I wouldn't argue because most of the concern came from him tumbling after backing off....but the post fight stuff is crazy.

Rose compared him buzzing Jones being just as good enough to warrant a stoppage as him hopping everywhere

They accused Jones of maybe using steroids because he was able to come up from WW and hurt/stop Rose.... I mean come on.

They probably can and will bring him back for a revenge fight. Honestly, Jones didn't look so good. Besides the KO sequence, he looked sluggish... his hooks looked like they were moving through molasses sometimes.

Haven't watched the fight but if Rose looked anything like he did against andrade the stoppage is a moot point -- that was one of the worst performances ever.

Ian John-Lewis strikes again.

He's one of the 3 worst referees in boxing, the other two being Lawrence Cole and Jack Reiss.

That being said, Rose was probably going to lose anyway.

Not outright, but they were saying you have to be really su****ious of a guy who can hurt Brain Rose like that coming up from WW.

I would hate to be a fighter in the UK. Its got a great domestic scene over there but ever damn time a guy gets buzzed and a flurry to follow up- the ref jumps in straight away.

Its a fine line because we gotta protect guys in this sport, but a fighter needs a chance to come back after being hurt- thats how great fights happen with that kind of drama.
