Comments Thread For: Murray: We've Got The Style To Beat Gennady Golovkin

Martin Murray (29-1-1, 12KOs), who holds the WBC silver crown, is a week away from the toughest challenge of his career, when he steps in the ring with the man many regard as the top middleweight in the world, WBA/IBO/WBC-interim champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs).

The HBO televised fight will take place at Salle des Étoiles in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Both boxers are familiar with fighting in the Monte Carlo. This will be Murray's third consecutive fight in the area, and Golovkin has averaged at least one fight a year in the region since 2013.

Murray is tough and a good boxer but....no one Gets to GGG besides Ward - due to the style problems that he seems to give everyone
        - I just want to see GGG for like 5-6 rounds and I'll be happy.
GGG vs Froch would be explosive but doubtful it will happen...who else????

Murray has a very high guard. GGG is going to hurt him to the body.

Really cant see how Murray can win this!
I'd love to see him win but see how he can damage GGG in any way, for a massive middleweight he doesn't really carry a punch, think he will just be too brave for his own good in the end

Murray's "style" is his weakest link -- seems like a naturally solid fighter who lacks any sort of polish or specialization
