Although Jr isn't anything amazing in the ring, I do think he'd last longer than anyone else so far vs GGG. Maybe even the whole 12. And I do agree Froch would be a better action fight and probably more $$ than BHop or GGG. Get past the Pole, then fight Froch.

You don't really believe that do you? Carl froch is a complete unknown here in the states while Chavez Jr. Has looked like garbage in his last few fights. Ggg has gotten huge ratings on HBO. Nobody is clamoring for Chavez Jr. Vs. Froch, but I bet a huge amount of Americans would buy a ppv of Chavez Jr. Vs. Ggg. Froch bribgs nothing to the table as far as fans in the u.s.

Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. says WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch is a better opponent than IBO/WBO/WBC interim-middleweight champion Gennady ***8220;GGG" Golovkin and 50-year-old legend Bernard Hopkins.

Chavez was in talks last year to face Golovkin, with the negotiations falling apart because the Mexican boxer was having legal issues with his promoter Top Rank. Chavez will return on April 18th against Polish light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara.

froch would be the best opponent chavez has faced, with the probable exception of martinez. hopkins at this stage looked shot against kovalev. beating hopkins after the kov loss doesnt do anything for chavez and ggg isnt as accomplished as froch.

however, chavez is not the best available opponent for froch.

Hopkins is not shot but people want to say he is so they can duck him. They don't want to look bad v the old man. GGG would beat the snot out of chavez so obviously he wants none of that. he got his ass handed to him in sparring and already b*tched out of the last negotiations with GGg. imo froch beats him too but I could see why chavez thinks he could beat him ... no shame in losing thinks he can win.

he didn't stink out the joint v kovalev ... cause kovalev was good enough to handle him with ease ... chavez isn't good enough and thus will end up in a close fought stinker (and quite possibly lose) which will prove that he just ain't that good ... hence he doesn't want to get in their with hopkins ... quite simple really.
