I hope Rigo carves himself out a good fanbase and some nice paydays in Japan. It's worked for other lower weight fighters. We all know who the real champ is.

As long as he doesn't care about the money. If he doesn't complain about that, he could get steady work there while waiting. The Yamanaka fight... would be big on New Years if they can make it. Rigo's last fight hit 11 million...Yamanaka's a better fighter and would draw more interest than that japanese vampire

He's facing bums yet still manages to retain his p4p ranking, what a joke.

Whose P4P ranking? Anyone can have his own P4P list. Don't put him in yours if it makes you feel better.

Genesis Servania wants to fight him to. His WBO mandatory. He has plenty of work available to keep him busy if he wants it. And all of these guys are ranked fighters.

I don't doubt he has plenty of work, it's the money aspect. He can keep as active as he wants, but the money he makes now will be vastly different than when hew as with Top Rank. What'd he have... a 750k minimum? I find his 500k purse still hard to believe.

Shoot, Roc and Warren came knocking and Carribe scared them off

Yeah those days are over. Caribe thought they hit the jackpot when he beat Donaire but it doesn't work that way. He should have stayed active and let the pieces fall. They think he is worth more than he really is.
