    My weekend at the fights....

I was in AC for the fights this weekend. I had a wonderful time.
THose of you who never have, next time you are in AC, EAT AT THE BALLY's Old West casino buffet. That place is insane!

As for the fights, The guy Salita was fighting got robbed.

As far as Toney getting robbed, I wouldn't say it was an outright robbery. One guy was busier, the other was more effective. It depends on what you like. However, it would be nice if judges had a consistent and streamlined scoring criteria......like say that Effective shots should be given the benefit over volume of shots.

That's how I saw it. Toney was effective and landing. Rahman was just busy doing nothing.

What did you eat at the buffet?

I thought Rahman won the fight, personally...Toney put forth a good effort, and was landing the bigger, more flush punches...But he was also doing ALOT less, and fights aren't judged only for effective clean conservative punching. If that were the case, Hopkins would have won bot his fights with Taylor.

Put it this way, at the end of the 12th I was thinking, if Toney doesn't get some huge fight defining rally or get a knock down, he needs a KO or I'm out 300 ****ing bucks.

Steak cooked medium rare. ONe of the best I have ever had.

Mash potatoes and onions and mushrooms on the side.

Then for desert and amazing bread pudding and absolutely overpowering fruit cobbler.
