That would have been a damn good war...

Williams would have taken a serious beating, those are my thoughts.

Why? Was he past it in your opinion?

No reason why it still cant happen.

Disabled people have every right to participate in the same sports as able people. All that needs to happen is for Canelo to agree to sit in a wheel chair and it's on.

I'd pick Williams for his superior reach, he's make it a jab fest.

Canelo was gonna tear his ass up. Paul only had work rate on Canelo but Canelo vicious body shots was gonna sit Paul ass down.

I don't think Canelo's body shots have as much pop in them as many seem to think they do. Idk that's just me though. He is a really good body puncher though.

I remember when the fight was announced, everyone thought Canelo would beat him easy, but I think it would have been close or Paul could have pulled the upset. People forget that Paul was one of the most ducked fighters awhile ago (#1 p4p for instance). His weakness was southpaws, he never lost to a orthodox fighter.
Can't wait to see Paul walk again, hope it happens.

there was some major slippage in his game at that point...he was taking more and more punishment and i agree with Dom...i think Canelo woulda put it on him

Knowing Cotto he wouldn't have any problems fighting Paul Williams as he currently is, he'll consider Paul to be only in slightly worse health than Serigo was.
