BoxingScene.com recently caught up with Kenny Porter, trainer of former IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter. On March 13th Shawn will face Roberto Garcia on Spike TV's inaugural 'Premier Boxing Champions' card.

Porter is advised by boxing power broker Al Haymon who has recently closed television deals with NBC and Spike TV and is close to closing a deal with ESPN. With the abundance of television dates, Haymon's fighters have been told they will have the option of being very active.
