Shut up about dogs, man. That was the lifestyle he knew, the environment he was brought up in. When his dog got beat and was dying, he was devastated, crying and completely lost it. It's not a surprise many boxers were into dog fighting and **** fighting. It's something that mirrors their own lives.

Nigel Benn should have been knighted for beating the cowardly animal abuser Gerald McClellan in to a wheelchair.
Nigel Benn is a job creator just like Amir khan. Someone made a living wiping Gerald's arse and feeding him through a tube
another guy made a living driving that window licker around on a bus.

This fight brings back a lot of memories. Horrible ref. Always thought it would be a ko1 for McLellan. I do admit now that I thought Benn didn't beat the count I think he did watching it again (seemed like forever the first time I saw it) but that atrocious ref didn't make McLellan's job any easier, getting in his way as he was going to work..
The legacy of this fight is very interesting because it was claimed that Roy Jones lost his "killer instinct" after this stuff happened.
A lot of people were affected by it.
McLellan lives in Freeport a suburb of Chicago, southwest side.
He was just killing everybody and just abandoned all semblance of defense the last couple of years he fought.
Whatever he did to dogs or whatever and whatever kind of person people think he was, he paid for anything he did 10x over. It's really ****** and heartless to cheer on someone suffering this much because maybe in the past he killed a ****** dog or two.Last edited by Guest; 02-13-2015, 04:44 PM.Comment

"killed a dog or two" He killed them every single day, dummy. Killing things was his hobby. This fight brings back a lot of memories. Horrible ref. Always thought it would be a ko1 for McLellan. "So he got this black Labrador, just went to the dog shop, told the man, "I need a dog to take care of, I'll take this Labrador home," and the man say to the dog, "Yeah, you got a good home now," and Gerald takes the dog home. He takes the dog down his basement and tapes the Labrador's mouth, takes his pit bull Deuce and says "Get him!" He lets Deuce start eatin' the dog up while he's timing it on a watch, see how long it would take his dog to kill this dog. And I said to Gerald, "Hey, Gerald, this Labrador wouldn't beat Deuce, no way, so why did you tape his mouth shut?" And he said, "Coz I just wanna see how fast my dog would kill him, for one, and, for two, my dog's a championship fighter and you don't need no dog scratched up and bit up by no dog, by no accident. This is like sparrin' for my dog, this is like my dog need to taste blood every day. My dog need to kill somethin' every day, Stan. Just like a fighter need to spar every day, he don't need nobody bustin' him up when he got a big fight comin' up. He just need to bust somethin' up hisself. Right?"'
Even if it was just 1 dog I'd still wish him the worst in life. I hope he lives to suffer another 50 years and finally dies in the most agonizing way possible.
'Yeah, Gerald he had some companionship about this particular dog. He'd raised this dog, and this dog, he'd killed a few. This ****ing guy, man, once his dog lost a fight and he was $7,000 down. He turns around, he looks at me, and the other guy says, "Hey, you want to wash your dog off before you put him in your truck?" Gerald just pulls a nine-millimetre out of his back pocket, aims it at the dog's head, busts a cap to the dog's head, and says, "Put that mother****er in a plastic bag. I don't need 'em if they can't fight no better than that. I don't need no mother****in' dog that can't fight." This the kinda guy he was...'Comment

Who are you to be passing judgement on Gerald McClellan? Does it make you feel all superior to be hating on a guy who has been an invalid for the last twenty years? Yes, all of us know the stories about what Gerald did to those dogs. Thanks for the history lesson. Now go join PETA and the get the f**k out of here!"killed a dog or two" He killed them every single day, dummy. Killing things was his hobby.

You'd think McClellan was a child abuser some of the comments I've read here.
I dont condone his dog fighting and cruelty to animals, however as some said it was the environment he was brought up in and it doesnt change the fact the man is in a heart breaking condition today, the man sacrificed his health in the ring like the warrior he was. Best wishes to him and his sister is an incredible woman for doing what she does.Comment

It's well known that thats how child abusers and murders start out, by torturing animals. Thank god Nigel beat him in to a living death before that happened. You'd think McClellan was a child abuser some of the comments I've read here.

I hope that hell is real so that he gets eaten alive by all the dogs and animals that he murdered. He truly is an evil son of a *****.Comment
