As a Rigo fan it sucks that the fight isn't happening. Rigo should focus on beating the Jackal, take his belt and the nickname. There's only one Chacal.
There's another dude around the same weight with the same nickname that's also a champ?

They'll put him in with Avalos, Quigg, Santa Cruz, Mares, but they won't challenge Rigondeaux.

        Just my opinion.

i think he'll be more open to that fight after the quigg rivalry is finally settled. at least frampton is making the right noises when it comes to rigondeaux, unlike quigg who literally just burst out laughing when he was asked about him. if frampton avoids rigo it will be mcguigan's doing, i reckon

Haymon just taking the Bullet for him since he already has his critics anyway and since he doesn't talk to the Media it doesn't matter if he takes the blame. Last Month it was "HIS DAD THAT DID NOT WANT THAT FIGHT" now it is Haymon?

Leo Santa Cruz and his Team DID NOT WANT THAT FIGHT! THEY NEVER DID!

What do you mean "they'll put him in with"? Avalos is his mandatory, he has to fight him. Quigg is the biggest fight out there for him.

I think Rigondeaux can come after that.

Now on the other hand Mayweather Pacquiao not happening is a huge non event and the FACT that we have a promoter who has been doing everything in his power for the last five years to prevent that fight from happening is a huge problem. Freddie Roach admitted that Bob Arum does not want the fight to happen and wants it to be "Manny's last fight". So why do people have a problem let with Haymon preserving Leo Santa Cruz but deny the FACT that Arum has been doing the same thing with Pacquiao and impeding a very important fight from happening in the process?

Yeah I also think Quigg would come after Avalos for UK supremacy, it's only natural as it's a more lucrative fight for both.

Suck for Rigo though, having to wait another year to fight a champion.

I wonder if Santa Cruz will drop the belt if he goes up in weight to fight Mares.
