Is Viktor Postol a major player in the 140 division?

I've seen him a few times most recently vs Aydin and he reminds of a mini Klitschko. How good is he and is Danny Garcia really ducking him? I certainly believe he can give Garcia trouble with his high output.

Garcia will never fight at 140 again imo...and 140 is wide open and Pitol seems like he has some talent so who knows. After Garcia moves up they should hold a tournament

He could potentially be...solid all round fighter, but problem is his fan base is pretty small so it's hard for him to secure those big fights. Perhaps destined to be avoided for a while.

The truth is that HBO was very lucky they got to fill their card with one of the very few somewhat exciting fights Postol ever had (and the finish plays a big part in the "excitement").

He is a major player. He beats Broner IMO.

I think he's even better than that. He's one of the top 10-15 fighters in the world. His resume speaks for itself.

I like postol but he loses to the elite fighters at 140, he barely made it past lundy. Lundy is really a lightweight. He koed adin but adin wasn't nobody special.

The division really isn't that strong if you look at it carefully. With the likely departure of Danny Garcia, it's only going to get weaker. That makes it easier for guys like Postol to get to the top.

I thought Garcia would be his toughest fight and vice versa. But with Garcia likely leaving, I think Postol has a great chance against anyone in that weight class.

No he's not a magor player in the Div he's a contender thats had 1 fight in the last year and has 2/3 decent wins overall.

Funny you mentioned Klitchko that's who he reminded me of when I watched him fight Aydin.

Garcia isn't scared of him if they ever fought Danny would beat that @$$ like Postol owed him money.

From the way it looks though Postol will have his chance to see how good he is because after Garcia vacates I think it's going to be Postol / Broner for the WBC belt so he'll have his moment to prove me wrong I doubt he will though

I think he could even be a major player at welterweight. Postol is a super supreme talent.
