According to Rob McCracken, trainer of WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch, there is nothing to gain from beating 50-year-old legend Bernard Hopkins.

In a recent interview, Hopkins branded Froch as a "coward" for calling him out and then running away from the fight when the possibility became realistic. Hopkins is even willing to allow Froch to select the venue.

McCracken does admit that Hopkins is a potential rival and discussions are ongoing - although their prime target is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Everybody knows Froch beat the living crap out of Bhops, plus that fight is worthless. Bhops didnt even win a second against kovalev, now this 50 year old who hasnt beat anybody worth mentioning in a long ass time gonna go down in weight and beat arguably the #1 guy in the division lol pssh GTFOH.
