Instead Cotto takes a year vacation and then when he finally defends his 160 pound title it almost certainly will be against a welterweight. Bradley is a natural 140 pounder and he fought at that weight during most of his prime with no problems making weight. He has no business in the same ring with the much bigger, hard hitting Cotto. Short Bradley will have to come forward to hit Cotto. Bradley's power is no threat to Cotto and the much heavier and stronger Cotto will work Bradley over to both body and head, I think Cotto will stop Bradley in 8 rounds or less. If it goes the distance Cotto should win a UD by a wide margin.
Anyone who thought Cotto would defend his title against a real middleweight is smoking crack. He wouldn't even fight Canelo coming up.

This fight is ****, but a truer statement cannot be written. Bradley's best win is Manny, if you don't want to count it fine he beat JMM legit. What's Kirklands best win? Hell, the loss to Manny for Bradley is better than any of Kirklands wins.

Somehow, Canelo fans are proud their guy has fought Angulo and Kirkland at 155 no less. Somehow, Cotto is being **** on because he's fighting a better fighter in the same weight division. Apparently, it's a worse fight because Timmy is only smaller than Kirkland.

My question for the ginger fans is this... what is the difference between Kirkland and Mayorga? You guys **** all over that fight with Cotto, why is it now all of a sudden okay for Canelo to fight Kirkland who is actually WORSE than Mayorga? You guys act like Canelo is fighting Floyd again... what a joke. Cotto vs Bradley is at LEAST two guys in the top 10 P4P facing each other, the other one is a hypejob being fed a D class fighter but... Cotto's the b*tch.

Cotto's fought more MW's at MW than Canelo, I wouldn't even bring that up. Canelo's had 3 fights at MW and none against an actual MW. In fact, he only even fought two JMW's at JMW. Floyd and Trout... and Floyd isn't even a JMW, he's really a WW. Yeah... Canelo fans have no room to talk about who anyone fights in any weight class.

Cotto by decision. Timmy is a tough little dude and because of that I think he can survive Cotto to see the final bell. He'll be scrappy throughout the fight but he just doesn't have the power to beat Cotto.

Cotto will win this pretty easily. He probably has a good chance at a TKO victory. He is just a stronger and better fighter than Bradley. Not to mention bigger.

Bradley, a man 2 divisions, realistically 3 division below Middleweight, is a better opponent than Kirkland? Damnnnn. Cotto fans truly have no shame

Bradley is an inside fighter. He's awkward, uses his head a lot to come in, he ducks and dives, and is very short so he's hard to box from the outside, unless you have fast legs and hands and good skills.

But, Bradley was able to punch and slip against JMM because JMM is damned slow and his style is to take punches to punch.

But, Bradley isn't really a range fighter, and he's short. Cotto will be able to find him, and probably punish and KO him. Bradley simply does not have the power to keep Cotto off him.

Yes. When your defense is "Kirkland is bigger" it's on the Floyd Mayweather level of nuthugger defending. Kirkland doesn't belong in the same ring with Canelo, Cotto or Bradley off of sheer talent and boxing ability. The only thing to complain about the Bradley fight is it being at MW which makes it a joke. If they fought at 152 just for the hell of it, what is there to hate about that fight? It's two top 10 P4P fighters facing each other... There's not even one in the Canelo/Kirkland fight, not even top 10 at MW which is where they are fighting.
