  • Is Lemieux the "Challenger" Golovkin was waiting for?

When I say challenger I'm not exactly saying he will beat GGG, but a guy who will test GGG's heart and will and take him to deep waters and may be even beat Golovkin.

David Lemieux's KO ratio speaks for itself, but before he would easily gas out after 4 and Rubio and Alcine toyed with him, but now he has worked very hard and has improved well. Takes a more economical yet entertaining approach.

Anyhow, the point is do you guys believe Lemieux is THAT guy who will beat GGG? If not do you at least believe he would put GGG through hell? Either ways answer "Yes" in the poll and explain which of the two you answered Yes for in the comments.

He's certainly an improved fighter, but Golvkin might be too much for him. I think Lemiuex hits harder though. Golovkin places it a little better though.

They'll hype him up as a great fighter like they did with Rosado, but Lemieux lost to Alcine and Rubio, two C fighters. Not impressive at all.

No way. If they fight Lemieux's going down. He has no chance at all.

Yea Golovkin does need a guy like Lemieux to win another fight preferably by knockout.

Lemieux would certainly be a guy that would try to push Golovkin back and he has power so that does interest me. However Golvkin is going to be fighting back and I don't know if Lemieux has the whiskers to really make that plan work.

Good fight for Golovkin and the fans.

Then you're simply at fault for not seeing his improvements.

He has improved but his chin is not strong enough to withstand GGG shots for too long.

                  No.

                  Lemieux has improved though.

i would love to see the fight but he does seem to be the new flavor of the month over hyped unstoppable come forward hard hitting boxer tho was matyssee/porter etc etc at one time that type of thing but ya i think it could be a pretty good fight.
