This pretty much. Imo Haymon is smart enough to know Floyd is coming to the end of his career and he can't rely on him forever so he's moving in his own direction. Plus the Showtime deal didn't work out as expected financially, Floyd doesn't provide the leverage that he used to.
Has Al Haymon Floyd's best interest in mind?

Supposedly Haymon raised alot of money from investors to fund this PBC experiment
That means he has a fiduciary duty to do his best to make them (and him) money.
I doubt Haymon would want Floyd being anywhere close to his deal with NBC. Advertisers aren't gonna cut a check to buy airtime when theres a illiterate, convicted felon there.Comment

I have seen the interview before. The help that Al Haymon provided was telephone calls telling Paul to get out of his house. Sure, Paul was happy someone called, but Al Haymon was his manager. Isn't that the least you can ask from your manager that he calls and asks how you are?
The question is, why didn't Al Haymon do more?
Why isn't Paul in rehabilitation training?
Why isn't Paul getting the best help he can get to get back on his feet?
Shouldn't Paul be in rehabilitation training to walk every day?
P.S.
All real boxing fans love Paul Williams, he is great...a TRUE CHAMPION!
I have never met Paul but would love to meet him, he is truly inspirational.Comment

It is likely that Haymon will start his own PPV for PBC, just like WWE do. There Floyd and Wilder can fight with different opponents and earn a few million dollars.Supposedly Haymon raised alot of money from investors to fund this PBC experiment

The rest of Haymon's fighters will need to fight on NBC, NBC Sports or Spike with a rather low purse. After a while the best fighters on NBC should be able to get a purse over $1 million, that is if the project becomes a success. I doubt that any fighter ever will get a purse higher than $2 million when they fight on NBC, because there is a limit to how much Haymon can get from his commercials there. However, there would not be the same limit for the fighters that Haymon can put on his own PPV.
But in conclusion, there must be a terrible reduction in the size of the purses, compared to when Haymon's boxers fought on SHO or HBO.
I expect that Haymon's best fighters will try to leave him for long time contracts on HBO or SHO, rather soon. I certainly cannot understand why so many fighters have been attracted to him.

However, Haymon is still using Floyd as his leverage at Showtime, and next year Haymon will likely put Floyd on his own PPV TV to maximize his own profit. This pretty much. Plus the Showtime deal didn't work out as expected financially, Floyd doesn't provide the leverage that he used to.
But Floyd doesn't need Haymon anymore, and should therefore leave him, in my opinion, because Haymon has burnt his bridges with HBO and is burning his relationship with SHO at the moment, giving them only mismatches.
Floyd is much better off fighting on HBO or SHO, than on Haymon's own PPV.

That is what Floyd Sr believed a few years ago, but he seems to have changed his mind about that. Maybe Floyd Jr has found some powerful PEDs that are undetectable, since then.
