It's been a month since he signed with Roc Nation, and it looks like he's no closer to getting an opponent.
Any update on Andre Ward?

He's still looking for his tune ups. I think they were discussing a fight with the Mexican 168 pounder, who wears the cowboy hat going into the ring. -
Don't know what's up with Roc Nation, but they don't wanna talk to anybody
Quiet period at @RocNation boxing? Phone calls and emails not returned

Things haven't looked good since Shaw left and took everybody backComment

cross that, Woods just had his ish set to spam filter.
Anyway they see to be working on getting Ward a fight but nobody wants to pay for a tune-up fight with what Ward wants.
Rumors are him vs the Dane, but again...rumor.
They think he'll be back late spring/Summer.... well get to crackingComment

Steve Kim mentioned Marco Antonio Perriban. He's 1-3-1 in his last 5 and coming off a 3rd round TKO to DeGale, so he sounds about right to challenge lb/lb #2 - Andre Ward.Comment

Right....don't mind that as a tune-up.
But I also see no problem with networks turning him down asking for like 1.75 million.
The only positive in that is Perriban probably won't get that much and they could at least try to make 2 undercard fights that're half decent... but since it'll probably be all roc nation... dusty Hernandez will be on itComment

I hope Ward doesn't get any serious money for a tune-up. I suppose it is sensible enough for him to have a tune-up but he shouldn't get to screw the fans for the privilege. It is hard not to think that Ward is just trying to squeeze everyone for a load of money for minimal effort.Comment
