Is boxing now about money rather than glory?

Back in the day, there was one belt an considerably less ducking and also a lot more activity from boxers. What do you guys think? Examples I can think of is Leo Santa Cruz demanding $3 million for the Rigo fight and Eddie Hearn saying Froch not fighting GGG as it's low risk low reward and then saying Froch doesn't need the money.

It has always been about money...why do you think they're called prize fighters? You think guys were getting their faces punched off in the 1860s for pride?

Money rules the world, boxing is no exception and is in fact one of the biggest examples of something that is dominated by money.

Have you ever tried to pay your mortgage/rent, buy food, clothes or gas, or pay the IRS with glory?

Boxing is a boxer's job, hence it's about money.

Lol some of these answers, of course money matters but some fighters refuse high risk fights and ask for extortionate amounts of money to duck guys.
