PPV costs have gone up and up over the years. They also charge extra for the HD feed. So the question is what is the maximum amount you would pay for a super fight? I've read that we could be facing a $100 PPV price for the HD feed if Mayweather and Pacman fight. Sweet lord! $100? That's above my comfort level and I would pass on ordering the fight.
Maximum PPV amount?

Im hoping to get a couple tickets and go but cheapest they'll be listed at is $1000 and there will be an incredible demand so it wont be likely.
If I cant make it, I'm planning on renting a premium big screen tv. -
I think $100-125 is going to be the price. I will get fight. I'm lucky in that I can afford it and always have big fights at my house and people chip in.Comment

No doubt the best option is to have a crowd over and everyone chips in some money.
But if it's one person paying for the PPV on their own then it gets expensive (none of my friends are into boxing or UFC!)
A $100 PPV could also set the benchmark for future big fights. Long term I think the fans will be paying more and more.Comment

I don't see a fight on the horizon that would command that much. I think this is the max for a long time.No doubt the best option is to have a crowd over and everyone chips in some money.

Depends on the card..
30-50 seems about right for your average PPv card..
Floyd-manny should be 75, 100 is pushing it but I think floyd-manny in 2009-10 would have been worthy of it..Comment
