Why was "THE MACHINE" unable to hurt Garcia?

I put my money on Garcia for that fight based on one reason and one reason only... and Garcia echoed that reason after the fight... Lucas never faced any real adversity in the ring like Danny had...

If I was a floydgimper like you or completely new here then that might have some truth. The fact is you and I both know what prompted larry to do this. Garcia has agood chin, never seen him in any trouble and he doesn't get clean all that much. I still think his knock down on Lucas is overrated, his head was stuck in the ropes, wasn't much of a choice but to go down , he didnt look hurt. A competent ref would have stopped the action. I'd still take danny today, Lucas is good but not top level.

Danny was well prepared for that fight. He defended himself well and he always saw the punches coming. Matthysse landed some flush punches but Garcia took them well. Danny has a really good chin.

Matthysse's power is legit though.
