WBC will give an extension or two before Wilder/Haymon makes the decision to vacate the belt. They'll probably vacate to fight Fury for less money because "that's what the fans want".

Don't know what Deontay will do with his shiny new green belt...

Thankfully the sanctioning bodies title belts are losing significance with each passing day...No longer do they hold the prestige they once held...Wilder doesn't need the responsibility and restrictions placed on him by winning a useless trinket...

The days of fighters being defined by how many alphabet titles they have garnered are long gone...

Willder Knocks out Povetkin and Fury. Wins a decision over Haye.

Has a very difficult fight against Joshua or Klitschko, Possible loss.

          "possible loss"

You're either trolling or you don't know **** about Boxing. All of them would knock him out easy. Wilder is a C level fighter with no good wins.

Alts are already in full effect to excuse Wilder vacating the belt.

                thats an entirely different situation.

korobov is a high risk low reward fight, he is a pretty good fighter but unknown. if quillen won it wouldnt be a big deal but if he lost which is very possible it would be a huge problem.

wlad unlike korobov is a huge name. he has been champion for a long time and hasnt lost in ages, korobov never fought for a title before. if wilder lost it wouldnt be a big deal, its wlad. he can learn from it and come back and he may still be the second best HW as far as people know. if quillen lost it would be much more devastating to his career.

also, the HW division will be wide open fairly soon when wlad retires in a few years, then a loss to him wont be that big a deal and there will be a space to fill.

wilder is simply much more marketable than quillen too, he is a huge, american, in shape HW with massive one punch KO power. he is still more than relevant after a loss to wlad.

finally, wlad is the biggest pay day out there for any HW, of course they want it. they will postpone it to give wilder as much time as possible to improve while wlad declines, giving wilder the best possible chance of winning. right now those chances are close to none, they might not improve much but they will improve with time. in the meantime wilder will make more money holding that green belt, but they will cash in on that wlad payday for sure. just at the right time for them.

my guess is he takes one or two fights first. its kind of funny how people are all mad about how wilder hasnt fought anyone and isnt a real champion one second, next second they demand he fights wlad. i prefer he fights fury and then either the winner of perez-povetkin (if he is impressive) and then wlad, otherwise wlad after fury. wilders team will probably look to get two or three fights in before wlad.

Klitschko is the only person a heavyweight should be concerned with fighting. He's the champion. Wilder has far far less claim to being the real champ of a weight class than Stevenson Cotto and Andre Ward. His real champ credentials are on the same level as Santa Cruz.

That doesn't wash Wilder turned down 10 million to fight Povetkin.

Your anti American Bu11$iht apparently has few limits. Wilders win over Stiverne is of higher quality than any Joshua, Haye, Povetkin or Fury have. I'm not some fanboy claiming Wilders gonna be great or can beat Wlad, but at least be fair about the matter
