Cotto and Mayweather are the same size basically. Thats why Mayweather didn't mind facing Cotto at 154, bc it wasn't really an advantage for him (even though Mayweather claimed he wanted Cotto at his best. Lol)
And Canelo had to come down to 152. Even though, I'm sure it didn't really impact the fight, going in, that would seem to have been TMT thought process

"UNABLE" ?????????????????? Unable to make the fight ? Floyd Mayweather JR UNABLE to make the Pac fight ?

      Give me a break !!!!!

      TBE is Unable ?

The Face of Boxing is UNABLE to make the fight ?

      What a JOKE !

As far as Cotto, After Roach got Cotto, and you make the comparison between him and when the Cuban got him its Night and Day !

When the Cuban trained Cotto for the Jr fight Cotto looked washed up, I had certainly written him off as a young man ,
      a. His footwork was terrible
      b. His game plan was terrible
      c. His punching was terrible
like I said Cotto in fights before the Jr fight and after looked Washed up.

When Roach got him and did his magic with him, he looked FRESH, Hey where'd that left hook come from mang ? Look at the foot work, that POWER,, and Cotto took that magic and looked Awesome.

I can't believe I read if Jr is unable to make the fight he will fight Cotto.

      What a duck !!

Then why is floyd ducking the rematch so hard? Oh, that's right, because Cotto is not fat and not trained by an amateur anymore. This version of Cotto who has an actual real trainer and conditioning coach stops foyd in 4 rounds. Fat untrained Cotto almost killed floyd, imagine what this Cotto does to him.

That's why floyd stays ducking the rematch hard.

Well, you can discount Cotto's two victories under Roach (even though no one thought he would get rid of Rodriguez that easily, and he was a clear underdog against Martinez -- even though everyone knew Martinez wasn't sparring in camp and wasn't doing serious roadwork). You also have to acknowledge that Floyd didn't look great against Maidana. That's a variable in this equation too, and it's what makes the fight interesting.

As a Plan B, it's one hell of a fight. Maybe you don't, but I would love to see it.

Exciting for floydina fans, a shot at a 160 title and exciting for us Cotto fans who want to get another crack at that fabricated undefeated record with this monster version of Cotto.

I have a bad feeling that cotto can pull off the upset. But considering floyd almost knocked cotto out maybe Floyd will decide to just outbox him

Of course Floyd would beat the rap out of Cotto again, Roach factor doesn't mean a ****.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for asking for a Floyd vs Cotto rematch.

Floyd vs Pacquiao and Cotto vs Canelo.

Oh yeah, Cotto been offered a ton of money for fighting Canelo 3 times and he's got his way out the 3 times. What does this tell you?

Cotto don't want anytihng to do with Canelo, he'll get destroyed.

Boxingscene readers really do need a break from tired posters like you Mang!!

What happened when Amir Khan was training under Roach Mang. He lost a decision and then got ktfo in his next; then proceeded to leave Roach Mang!

Roach is no world class trainer like the media makes him out to be ***head.

Manny was already a good fighter as was Khan; if I started training Floyd while he is already established, I am only waiting on a check after having him hit the bags, spar, jump rope and the rest. lol
